Padfield’s Invincible, Padfield family.

Is in our opinion one of the best present-day long-distance Jan Aarden-based pigeons to fly into Wales. His wins are: 1st GGDC, 1st West Section, 2nd Open BICC Barcelona at 754 miles 2009, beaten only by a bird flying 200 miles to the east of his Cwmtillery home in a race that saw a strong westerly wind blowing the whole of the race weekend, beating over 25,000 birds in the Barcelona International; 23rd Open BBC Nantes, 3,200 birds; 33rd Open BBC San Sebastian and 3rd Open Single-Bird National; 3rd West Section, 31st Open Pau BICC; 163rd Open BBC St Nazaire. He also won the Welsh Most Meritorious Award six times, 600 miles and 750 miles once. This long-distance warrior handles small to medium, sits in the hand perfectly, has the most beautiful golden eyes and we are very proud to have him at the House of Aarden.

• A grandchild of Padfield’s Invincible won 1st Welsh Section NFC Fougères National. Same pigeon won 1st Welsh Section NFC Messac National for our good friends Dave & Vince Padfield 2016.
• Also Paul & Richard Pym won 1st Section D, 1st Open NFC Messac National 2016 with a pigeon bred off a granddaughter of Padfield’s Invincible.
• Another good friend of ours, John Smale informed us that a grandchild of Padfield’s Invincible won 1st Welsh Section NFC Tarbes National and 1st Welsh National Section NFC Tarbes National and 1st Welsh National Tarbes 2016.
